DISCLAIMER: My time at this studio was only for the duration of the creation of this pilot episode. I am not affiliated with the current employees of Spindlehorse. I worked on this production directly out of college as a means of gaining some level of industry experience and to afford rent and by the end of my time on the production had many negative experiences with the director, various employees, and fans of the production that have since led me to distance myself from anything involved with this production or studio.

I do not condone bullying, underpaying, overworking, or mistreating employees regardless of their skill levels.

This background is inconsistent with the rest of the designs and does not exist in the hotel building. This is a result of the animation requiring very specific placements that did not work with the other backgrounds.

The fireplace begins in this state, tattered and in bad shape, but with a little magic is transformed by the end of the scene!

One of the few shots that show the check in desk in full. This area will later be replaced with the green casino/bar. The wall portraits were added in after this as they were not done by me!

Some scenes involved character interaction like moving background props, for these shots backgrounds were painted with objects missing to be animated by an animator (Couch cushion in this scene)

I composed a library of frames so new designs did not need to be made for each scene and could by copied over to save time and keep things on model. Right Concept art by
@Faustisse and @Vivzie

All Shots together. I set these boards up to check for color and lighting consistency when painting many shots for one scene.
